The main Railway Jobs Recruitment Cell (RRC), West Central Railway (WCR) has announced a big recruitment for 2865 Apprentice posts in different trades. For the age limit, a candidate must be at least 15 years old and not more than 24 years old as of 20 August 2025. There are relaxations in age for some categories. For example, candidates from SC and ST categories get 5 years extra, those from the OBC category get 3 years extra, and there is also extra relaxation for PwBD candidates as per government rules.
For the education qualification, candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) with at least 50% marks. Along with this, they must also have a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade. This certificate should be from either NCVT or SCVT, which are recognized training councils.
